Working capital turnover

The working capital turnover ratio is a ratio between sales revenue to working capital. This is a measurement of managements ability to use working capital to generate revenue. It is also important to note that accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover are components of working capital turnover.

To calculate working capital turnover:

Working capital turnover = Net sales revenue / average working capital
