Balloon loan

A balloon loan is also a type of a loan that requires one final payment (balloon payment) due upon maturity of that loan. Balloon loans are typically long-term loans, have low interest payments and only require small payments during the life of that loan. The catch is, at the end of the loan the borrower is required to repay the entire loan. In some situations like a mortgage, the payments include some percentage into the principle. The final payment or the balloon payments can be paid with new balloon loan, allowing an individuals or businesses to utilize a larger amount of capital with a long term payment plan.
