Sun Rayz Products was founded in September of 2003 in order to market consumer products by taking advantage of the FLA-USA label along with the Visit Florida $70 million marketing campaign. The founders of Sun Rayz Products secured the licensing rights from Florida Media and now have the opportunity to get the license directly from the state. In the post 9/11 world, Florida's governor realized that Florida's over dependency on the tourism industry would be offset by diversification using the FLA-USA logo to help grow and promote other Florida economies. Sun Rayz completed an Asset Purchase Agreement and went public in June of 2004 under the symbol SRPI.

Sun Rayz Products will market and sell consumer products representing the Florida lifestyle in the United States as well as internationally under its own brand name as well as the FLA-USA brand. The FLA-USA logo is nationally and internationally recognized as the official symbol of Florida. By using an already established trademark, Sun Rayz Products is able to eliminate the costs of establishing a recognized logo. The only news release I found was the spam that has been circulating for the past couple of months. Note the volume spikes on the chart below - they correspond with the spam message.
